I wish Twitch had the compressor natively for example. However, I find myself using the Userscript/Tampermonkey combo somewhat regularly. The FFZ Dev/team is quick to at least start looking into issues and getting fixes out as quickly as they can though, can't ask much more than that. Like others have pointed out, almost always, Firefox is the one being the slow party.
