I first looked at the very popular "Definer" extension, never installed it though, downloaded the xpi source code instead (minified ofc) and did not feel comfortable whatsoever installing it, not in the slightest. The amount of URLs in there,

Meanwhile, I looked at this extension's source code, and it's so dead simple I love it, I didn't even need to scroll to read the source code!

I literally just got tired of looking up words in scientific journals every 10 seconds, and wanted to just right click the damn word and look it up.

Doesn't have to be a fancy floating popup either, the fact that this extension just literally sends you to a dictionary.com site definition in a new tab, without wasting time on over-engineering the act of looking up a word's definition, is refreshing.

Could even say it adheres to the Unix philosophy! Do one thing, and do it well!

This is literally all I needed.

I wasted an hour or two digging through "Definer's" source code (190 files btw, 18 MiB uncompressed!!!)

Then I just said, hey you know I should scroll a little further down the extension store, maybe someone made a dead simple extension. It turns out, someone made a dead simple extension.

5/5 for not trying to knock on a door with a questionable sledgehammer

Easy breezy, works exactly like it says here. Simply select the full word, right click and you will see both dictionaries from there pick one or the other.

Great design. Simple and straight forward. Very helpful and will increase my productivity.
