sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 14782204, há 7 anosI really like this addon because it also has a good wiki with recommendation regarding the avaiable settings in this addons.
However I have two questions for which I did not found a clear answer:
1. In the Header -> Referer section of the wiki it is noted that two options should not be set in about:config. I assume that setting these options in the user.js is also problematic?
2. If these options are modified (in about:config or user.js) how does this negatively affect the addon?
Edit: Thanks to the developer for the fast answer.

2. The options for managing the headers are a workaround for the existing functionality in Firefox. There isn't a way to toggle those settings using the APIs available. If a user changes those options in their preferences, it may prevent Chameleon from setting the header values properly. Firefox modifies the headers before Chameleon can.

Effortlessly the best useful extension on FireFox. It literally does what it says, almost too well. Like It spoofed the language I use to Hindu and man did I struggle finding everything in Hindu. But it was just doing its Job.
So, let it spoof everything except the language. Other than that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!!! - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19487299, há 6 meses

good for faking out anti-free speech bad website moderators-there are so many. need a good guide on how to best make your fingerprint useless to trackers and censor sites. It seems to work on some sites and not on others. True time zone was detected even when "spoofed". it's spoof settings work on "cover your tracks" but I'm guessing some sites they do not work. It's a cat and mouse game. Fingerprinting is evil and we really need a good undetectable spoofer. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19173908, há 9 meses

- Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur Geneaux, há 10 mesesThis extension WILL randomly delete your settings and it WILL fail in importing your previous settings:
"Invalid setting value: options.webRTCPolicy"
Doesn't matter what version the settings backup was from, the extension is useless. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19477572, há 10 meses

Right now, the biggest problem with this add-on is that it tends to not always work well on some websites, so I haven't used it as much as I would've liked. For example, it causes problems on YouTube, and sites protected by Cloudflare always put me into this annoying endless captcha loop if I'm using a custom profile. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 19007046, há um ano
- Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 17569951, há um anoUI is nice, but it doesn't really seem to spoof very well... Most sites still immediately know I'm using Firefox when I have this set up to spoof Chrome. Only sites that check solely the User Agent string think I'm on Chrome; any other "detection method" returns Firefox for me. :(
