love this extension, but i wish it would have a few more options on hiding the thumbnails. i.e blurred thumbnails but they appear if you hover, or the ability to change the thumbnails to a solid color. other than that, i can't complain, it's pretty much what i was looking for! keep up the good work!

Thanks for all the feedback megaloo! Recent changes have added options that you can access via the extension settings panel. They don't do exactly what you've suggested here, but there are now options for blurring / showing on hover etc. :)

Does what the addon says it will do. As others have mentioned, this makes the page much less interesting which is good for your mental health and focus.

Seems to have stopped working on the sidebar? Thumbnails still show up, checked options. Seems to work fine elsewhere. Does it have to do with YouTube updates?

It's not working for some reason right now. Now the thumbnails aren't being hidden anymore. You should update this add-on ASAP.

Very nice extension.

The "hide unless hovered" option is broken again, but I have faith that the developer will fix it soon. You can't prevent Youtube from updating their website.

I would also love if video length was displayed somehow even when thumbnails are hidden, but that is a complex feature so I understand why it's not there.

As for the main functionality, it works perfectly. Great for avoiding clickbait and getting your brain to focus on more productive and educational youtube videos.

love this addon - i found it after trying to cover up thumbnails with multiple Jimmys(sadly not yet posible), id love to be able to pick my own colour for the single colour option.

just came back to say, it would also be amazing if video lengths were on for all modes not just blur
