Used to be great, but is now abandonware. I currently click on dozens of "ok to cookies" buttons every day. Looking for replacement for this once-great plugin!

Works great, i.e. blocks most of the poupups, but that also means a lot of sites are broken (since accepting cookies sometimes 'unlocks' the whole site, so the addon has to be disabled). It can be a bit annoying, maybe more than the popups themselves.

Because of thet, I wouldn't reccomend it for people who can't easliy spot that a site is broken, due to blocking the cookie popup (or don't won't to deal with this).

Might addon and usually helpful in doing its job.

But it blocks playback on Deezer! Cause Deezer allow streaming if the cookie consent was accepted only and the banner was removed without further action by the addon, streaming is impossible right now.

I can't report a problem with a site.
Reason: The captcha image on the site that is used for reporting isn't loading.

Problem with other sites/the extension:
The cookie warning is blocked, but there is also no scroll bar and I can't scroll down, even with the mouse. After allowing and answering the cookie warning, the scroll bar appears and I am able to scroll down.
I use the add-in in Firefox 130.0.1 (64-Bit)

Cannot report problem with a site

Problem with your site: invalid captcha image containing php warnings.

Mostly work well on most sites. But does not work on x.com.
So I Report a cookie warning. The security question image does not display. I cannot send the report.

When trying to report a site that is not properly covered by this extension there are errors in the report page, such as the image for "security question" does not show up in Firefox.

I suspect that is due to the fact that page has the following errors:

for deviantart, it seems to break the website as it doesn't register mouse clicks UNLESS you whitelist the site. there may be more sites out there like this but personally, this is the only one i experienced.

In general it blocks popup for good but unfortunatelly many websites implement this notification in the way that without confirmation it's impossible to browse or website seems cripled. That's why I need to disable.

It doesn't work on some websites.

Please publish your source code on GitHub. It's already licensed under GPLv3 and having easy access to the source code would make it possible for the community to make contributions and improve the extension. Functionality wise, top notch - I couldn't imagine using the internet without it <3

I have always been satisfied with this supplement and I have used it for many years. Recently, however, it has begun to negatively affect the behavior of Firefox by the fact that, for example, on the website www.czc.cz it was not possible to scroll the page down. I had to remove the add-on and now use Ninja Cookie to block cookie dialogs.

I had to disabled it, too many (italian) websites were broken by it (e.g. www.radio24.ilsole24ore.com)

As of November of 2021, I ("technical data-security" person in public sector) see the legal situation for this addon as follows:

Lets start with a big con about entering legal contracts by surfing in the world wide web:

- Absolutely violates the " informed consent" required by GDPR by sometimes giving consent but hiding what I actually agreed to. Legally, neither the user nor the website now know if anyone is at fault for aggregating and using personal data. I can neither exercise my rights to be informed or correct data that was collected, nor can the website owner use or sell my data in good conscience.

- The developers website acknowledges this schism: "Please educate yourself about cookie related privacy issues and ways to protect yourself and your data. For example, you can block 3rd party cookies, install ad blocking extensions and then block tracking tools, delete browsing data regularly, enable Tracking Protection in your browser etc."
Which is the right way to handle cookie banners. This is the worst way for all parties involved. To reiterate: even the website owners get a poisoned gift by receiving non-legally-valid consent, and the user waives all control over their personal rights without even knowing, how that might hurt him or her whenever this add-on allows some tracking cookies to be stored.

Pros:

+ Visually, seems to work. (Legally, see above. Browser Cookies are not about cookies or computer science, but the actual subject matter is keeping others from knowing what kind of stigmatised interests or ridiculed condition you keep to yourself or a very limited audience. By not caring, you shoot yourself in the foot.)
+ The developer actually reads this and reacts to it.

UPDATE:

Starting in December, this Addon will probably need to register as a "Personal Information Management Systems" (PIMS) in germany, to finally become legal. Let's hope that it won't be an extensive and thereby expensive certification. If @Kiko fails to do that, this app will still work ins legally gray area are finally become illegal in germany and should regionally be blocked to avoid anyone sueing Kiko or the end-users.
