Just signed up, probably works great but even before I've had a chance to use it, I'm already disappointed by the misleading advertising. From the welcome email: "As a ⁨Firefox⁩ user, you get ⁨50⁩ email masks for free." But from the management page: "4/5 masks available."

• 20260728 Works now, the service must have been down. Now I discover that one gets only 5 out of the 50 advertised masks. Only one tenth of the promised ones. I don't need 50 but definitely more than 5; I signed up to a lie.
DuckDuckGo lets you have as many as you need, given enough time. You can also reply through them at no cost.
By default Mozilla opts you in sending telemetry data to them and opts you out from filtering e-mail trackers which are the exact opposite settings of what one would do for privacy.
• 20260727 I wanted to try Mozilla Relay out, signed up, and all I get now is blank pages. The extension only links to the same blank pages. Useless. Clearing cache, other browser, restarting, all didn't help either.

I would like to use this extension, but i get a 403 error for "relay dot firefox dot com" and the extension seems to be broken.

the website still claims 50 free mask, but in reality it is 5.

I appreciate the service a lot, but the extension itself is a bit annoying, it gets in a way of tab-navigation within login forms

I appreciate the Greendale Community College reference, but the logo looks like the b-tthole from Community.

I love this service, such a good feature to have directly in Firefox. I'd even donate money to keep it going.

Firefox/Mozilla updated the service so you can have up to 50 masks - but the extension still thinks its limited to 5. So its currently unusable!
3 Stars because the service it self is great!

Sorry to rate 1 star, but I will increase to 5 if the add-on is updated to reflect that users are allowed to have up to 50 email aliases; not just 5. As for the relay service itself, I really like it and appreciate it. But the add-on is not up to date, and is not even usable for me, as a result of this shortcoming.

i have to say that Mozilla's SO GOOD AT PROTECTING YOU

A very useful tool for keeping your real e-mail safe, however, some website do not accept Firefox relay. Few ones. My biggest problem is that I put an alias for a driving school, and they should have send me a mail because passing a test ; well, I never received this mail, not in my spams, nowhere.

Great extension if you want to hide your real e-mail address or generate throw-away e-mail addresses. Although the tracking protection isn't as great as in alternatives and you have to generate random e-mail names, making it hard to memorise them, it is still a great extension to have.

new: still says "you reached your limit of 5 masks" although in latest Fx patch, limit was increased to 50...
old: On some websites the addon removed names of fields in forms...
