Worked for my simple test of clicking a designated button on a form page where the URL changes but always starts with the same beginning.

This worked because the use case allowed me to use the start of a URL, but note that you can't use any other parts of the URL as keys. It would be nice if you could match URL's "like" or use wildcards, etc, to specify what pages to apply the macros to.

Also needs the ability to only run manually. I created a macro to click the submit button, essentially, because it's far down on the page and I'm often at the top when I'm ready to submit. So having it run automatically doesn't work, and currently the only option (which is nice if you want it) is to wait a specified delay.

So I can't complain about it working, I just want a little more out of the extension.

worked the first attempt. there,s no enryption for password fields. no way to edit macro lines.

EDIT 2: It does work, but I'm disappointed that it does not record scrolling. My use case IS scrolling...

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I guess this extension works by remembering the element on which we clicked, or scrolled.
But what I was expecting was it to record WHERE I clicked or scroll, i.e. the POSITION.

It's therefore not that useful for automating things.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the "failed while executing a macro; required element not found" error is then not good to have

EDIT: it does work, but once you've refreshed the page, you get the mentioned error

This almost works for what I want, but the automatically stopping macros if they repeat too often is stopping me from using it. Love that I can edit the url the macro is triggered on to account for different endings but I would love a way to stop it from turning itself off to just mass repeat a tedious 1 second action!

I absolutely love it and am grateful for having such an easy to use extension, works especially well on phones.

I would love however a way to edit macros after they were created (moving/removing actions, adding delays, etc) as well as allowing wildcards in urls.

I would also love to have a repeatable macro (with a toggle) (for a number of times or indefinitely)

Has good potential, however seems related to URL. I sugest to be able to flag macro as automaticaly triggered for one URL or actionnable. Macro name should be an field as duplicate macro can't be loaded with the same url.
Waiting with impatience to get this kind of improvement.

The new update fixed the issue where it would randomly forget the last action of the macro.

Doesn't even work at all with no cues as to why. It should but doesn't, I have a macro defined, adding delay manually does not help, cannot invoke on-demand, cannot have multiple macros per-site either, non-intuitive.

I'm hunting for a replacement for imacros which is no longer in existence. This looks promising. My use case: when I open an email in my gmail that I want to kill forever, I'd like to be able to create a filter to delete that one email and others from the same sender. I DON'T want the macro to run on EVERY email!! Any chance you can add custom macros, not triggered simply by the url?

A Good and handy extension.
Needs a delay mechanism before selecting a field that depends on another field.

100% broken waste of time. It literally does absolutely nothing but show you a banner claiming that it's recording a macro. But it isn't. I tried 3 times. The macro was never there after I finished recording it.

Without a "run" button, there's no way to tell if it does anything. And there is no "edit" screen to walk through the macro.

I couldn't figure out how to execute a recorded macro.

The extension works for some sites. Saves me time from clicking on repetitive links. I wish i can add a slight delay to clicking on the link. Otherwise excellent work.

I am able to record the macro but there is no button to execute it. Tried several times, checked all possible options - nothing.

Too many errors trying to create a macro asuch as page repeating too quickly or page not found.

The idea is brilliant! However sometimes it doesn't recognize site and macro is not started automatically or done partly. You cannot force to play the macro, because if you click on the icon, recorded macro will be lost. Recorded macro steps cannot be edited or listed.

Precisa evoluir. Não há como dar nomes às macros, o que permitiria executar diferentes macros na mesma página. Outra falha é a falta de um disparador, ainda que fosse manualmente, escolhendo a macro desejada em uma lista.

Really enjoy using this Add-on, saves the few vital seconds when filling in repetitive forms on frequently used web pages.
One improvement would be to enable the user to edit the macros with a simple text based approach.
Currently if you need to edit some text the Macro is entering you need to recreate the whole Macro.

Great for my particular needs. Also Developer has been very responsive. Would just like the option to allow Permissions on complete website, i,e, "Https://Example."
