sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 13260286, 7 years agoThis extension seems to read what the "Speed Reading Mode" extension doesn't read. I really like the presentation. I haven't figured out exactly why the third letter or so is red, but it does seem to help keep my attention. Improvements could be an option to read only what is selected on the page. Another nice thing would be to show how much time it will take to get through the words in the page with a progress bar. Remaining time would also be nice.

yeffeɣ-d deg 7 years agoThanks for the review! You can read your selections on a page by highlighting the text then right-clicking and choosing "Stutter Selection". The background of the reading bar displays progress but not time, you're right. I'll look into that and see if it's something I can add!

It would be awesome to see it ported to Thunderbird. - Yettwasezmel 2 ɣef 5sɣur kirillmyp, 6 months ago

- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Roizen, a year agoAmazing! It's just that I can't seem to get the skip backwards and forward to function both in Firefox (nor Chrome). Maybe there's something I'm doing wrong, or dev can please look in to it. Cheers :D

yeffeɣ-d deg a year agoSometimes the default key bindings aren't a great fit for your computer. Try going to the options panel and scroll to the bottom. Click on the current binding and you can press your own key to bind your own scroll buttons. That may work better for you. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur NikWillOrStuff, 2 years agoI was impressed!! Sometimes you have to highlight the text you want to read before turning it on, depends on the website, but the keys are customizable and everything has been working for me without any fuss.

- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Herr Einzige, 3 years agoAdding another great review for this. Perhaps I missed it but it would be nice to have a pause button to allow me to stop and start where I left off. Otherwise great, helped turn reading an article into a better experience.

yeffeɣ-d deg 3 years agoHi there! You can click on the stutter bar to pause or use the keyboard shortcut to pause/resume. The keyboard shortcuts are customizable in the add-on settings page. Cheers. - Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 15304512, 3 years ago

Good amount of configuration and nice ability to control color with themes and move the bar around.
I'd love the option of being able to control font and font size. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur TachyLubdub, 4 years ago
- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 16915145, 4 years agoGreat plugin. I will rate 5 stars if you add a keybinding to quickly lookup the dictionary. Dictionary(dot)com is a good one and easy to implement.
- Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Esh44, 4 years agoWorks really well. However, I cannot seem to use the extension when I open a pdf file in firefox.

yeffeɣ-d deg 4 years agoSadly, the browser add-on API does not let me target PDFs. It's a browser limitation and nothing I can fix in the add-on. - Yettwasezmel 4 ɣef 5sɣur Gen, 4 years agopretty good, there are improvements that can be made but works for what it is

Also despite the homepage link being a github page, I do not see the mention of the add-on being open source; in my opinion this would be a good marketing point to add !
