sɣur uBlock Origin Fanboy, 8 hónapjaThe best adblocker out there, it utilises tools to identify and block ads that it's competitors don't. Plus, it's completely free, with no bloat making it super lightweight, and also completely open-source.
If you're using this on Firefox, you're also using it on the recommended browser for this extension, too!
Some people say it doesn't work for some websites which have anti-adblocking measures. There are many tools which can help fix this, although I highly recommend installing uBlock Origin alongside the extension Violentmonkey, then adding the userscript AdGuard Extra to Violentmonkey.
AdGuard Extra helps to block server-side ads that uBlock Origin can't block, and installing it as a userscript means that it can block ads even faster before they are even able to load onto the website.
I suggest leaving the settings in uBlock Origin as default, they provide the best coverage necessary for the average joe.
Although, if you want to enhance your uBlock Origin settings to block more trackers and annoyances, I suggest reading yokoffing's filterlists guide on GitHub, and use his recommended filters. (don't forget to add the custom filters with a star beside them, they're also considered recommended filters!)
There you go! These should fix most issues with uBlock Origin. If you also have annoying countdowns on adlink websites such as Linkvertise and Lootlinks, I recommend adding the userscript bypass-all-shortlinks-debloated to Violentmonkey to skip them entirely!
If you run into any issues with uBlock Origin and the recommendations above don't fix any of these issues, can report them to the people who make the filterlists. For the uAssets and Easylist filters, (these filters are enabled by default, so they are probably the issue) you can report issues at their respected GitHub repositories. For AdGuard filters, you can report them on their website.
Thank you for reading through this guide, and I hope this could resolve any issues that you potentially have with uBlock Origin!
Happy adblocking!

- In a Internet full of spam, pop-ups and annoying ads, this is a MUST HAVE for everyone (combined with Ghostery), on every device.
It just doesn't block ads, it makes every site much more readable (especially newspapers that are always full of junk).
It blocks malicious code, suspicious sites and almost eveything that shouldn't be in a webpage. It makes the everyday use of Internet much better. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Android17x, egy napja
