This single function (and much more) is better implemented in the AddOn "Essential Buttons Toolbar".

Hence a corresponding AddOn for the other direction could also be useful - or a combination of "Up" and "Down".

Hi Localghost,

This extension was built out of personal frustration.

While there are other extensions that implement "Back to Top" functionality, none (that I've tried) allow the user to go back to where they scrolled up from.

So the point of this extension isn't that it takes you to the top, but also allows you to undo that action.

If that isn't useful to you then this extension will have little utility for you.

Let me know if there are other things I can do to improve this extension.

    Useful on Android. Generally works properly. Being able to scroll back down is a nice bonus. Arrow has limited positioning so gets in the way sometimes.

    b. names are confusing with "Back to Top Everywhere" (in about:addons) and "Upwards - Back to Top Button" (in addons.mozilla.org)
