this is the oldest (longest-used) add-on in my Firefox which is still installed.
I remember having a bliss to use this add-on instead of manually editing XMLs and starting a local web server so Firefox recognizes them.
I don't have it enabled all the time but from time to time I still enable it to add a search engine. A shame this is a hassle to do in Firefox without, other browsers I use don't have such problems. Also it's sad there is no easy way to edit a search after it's added, without re-adding it with the edits.

- I just removed the extension because Firefox now also natively allows to add custom search engines via the settings (see extension description).
Unfortunately, both available upload services of the extension are currently down, making the extension unusable.
However I always loved the extension and used it a lot over the past years so I wanted to leave a positive review as "goodbye". - Yettwasezmel 1 ɣef 5sɣur MonkCanatella, 4 hónapjadpaste.org is down and there doesn't appear to be a way to handle it manually so for now this plugin doesn't work.
But also this can now be done natively in FF which means this plugin is now redundant (for the time being) - Bonjour,
J'appréciais beaucoup cette excellente extension mais malheureusement elle ne fonctionne plus sous mon vieux Firefox 115.29.0esr (64 bits) : JSON error line 1 column 1.
