    It mutes the sound in the browser every time I try to ID a song playing. Have to refresh the page just to get sound back again

    Abandonware, probably for the sole purpose of advertising a paid service. There is a known issue where it mutes your tab after searching for a song, which hasn't been fixed for months.

Definitely wasn't the case of abandoning the extension or using it for advertising a service; it's just incredibly tricky to get audio recording working on Firefox, as the browser doesn't support direct audio capture from the tab.     Stopped working. Anytime I try to identify a song that's playing now, the audio gets muted.

    What happened was that we tried to fix audio recording that basically stopped working on YouTube and many other websites, but introduced a bug that prevented audio from being played back. All of this should now be fixed, and the extension works almost everywhere.)
