Works just fine. However, I strongly dislike how it appears when one goes to a site one has blocked. It looks like you've been taken to some hack site. It would be MUCH BETTER if instead of the page heading being "Restricted Access" it said something like "This page/site has been block by the Block Site Firefox Addon."
Please, don't expect me to realize what is going on by seeing some stupid icon either. (I hate icons, but they're here to stay.) Secondly--although this may be an option--the screenshot shown in the example is white, while I get a BLACK screen (which, again, looks hackish).

    Works and can be helpful, but still quite buggy. Blocking hours don't hold up, and will randomly reset or become null after a day or two. Also: sometimes opening a URL in a new tab immediately blocks the page from loading (even though it's belongs to the same root domain page that I opened it up from). :'(

    Fixing all this would easily have me give it 5/5

    nice, but I cannot copy and paste a list I have from uBlacklist because it requires you do write the domains one by one and press a button. So it is quite slow

    Creates multiple virus like software applications that are intentionally hard to uninstall. Also not a reputable company, takes your information and tries to hide it from you that they do it.

    It just doesn't work. It can block the main page of a site, but refuses to block any page related to it. I want to block a social media site to stop myself doomscrolling. It will block the frontpage and no other page. Even if I put in the address for the other pages I want to block, it won't block them. WHY!?

    Suddenly stopped working. Can't add sites to blocklist, pages on the blocklist aren't blocked consistently.

    Nice extemsion, one issue;

    One of the first sites i blocked, is webextension.org.

    I hate it when Extensions like this keep spontaneausly opening websites after updates, with no way to opt out...

    i m using it from too long and loved it..
    just need 1 addition.. i wants to add domain with right click from history page..
    currently i need to right click > Copy link > Any current page and clicking on block site extension. then paste and removing suffix and prefix.
    so i think this optional feature may usefull for all its users

    Yeah, Random Sites Started Popping Up and it Wanted to "Disable WebExtensions"??? I Don't Care if this Add-on comes with a decent 3.9-Star Rating [That's a 78/100, a C+ Grade] (Out Of 512 Reviews) & 73,320 Users (as of 10/10/25) - if it opens stuff randomly over & over and asks that of me, I am concerned about my PC, You Never Can Be Too Careful These Days with Scams, Fraud, & Phising, afterall. An Excellent Idea, However, I'm Concerned About This Add-on's Authenticity & Security, & Will Not Be Running it On MY PC, for sure.

    I need a solution to temporarily block access to a few opened tabs. But this add-on doesn't block tabs temporarily, it destroys them permanently.

    This is a very good plugin, but there's a bug I hope the author can fix. If you pause blocking for 5 minutes, then **close the browser**, and reopen it after 5 minutes, you'll notice that the block hasn't automatically resumed and you'll need to manually click "Resume Block" to restore it. I often find myself browsing a webpage after pausing for 5 minutes, then closing the browser. When I reopen it, the plugin is permanently no function unless I manually click "Resume Block."
