However, I could never get the audible alert to work in Firefox (works good in Chrome & Vivaldi). The notification icon works, but I'm not always looking at the screen, so it would be nice if the "ding" worked.

It seems the recently updated extension no longer supports the Firefox ESR channel for older PCs that can't run Windows 10/11.
The extension was working fine until 7th April 2026, then on that day a new version installed automatically, and now it's just a mass of error messages ... all of them in a bold white font on a bright red background.
