Even after installing this add-on and configuring it to open bookmarks in a specific container,

a prompt asking,

“Do you want to open this site in the assigned container?”

still appears.

Is this the add-on’s default behavior?

I was under the impression that this add-on was supposed to open bookmarks directly in a specific container without displaying this prompt.

This approach no longer works with sync: the extension installation ID is different per browser, and your bookmarked links will only work on a single device.

It even lets you set a default container to open all bookmarks in a folder with a certain container by default! This is great!

Took me a few minutes to figure it out but it's perfect. Just wish Firefox had this built in... pretty clever workaround though. Kudos!

Doesn't seem to work (Firefox 107.0.1 for Mac). The #thing appended to bookmark URLs doesn't do anything. The real value would be allowing to edit an existing bookmark and having a select box to select the container + the expected behavior. This should also bypass the container question "do you want to open in container X or Y" and should just open it where expected.

This is precisely what I wanted.

Does exactly what I need. Personally I recommend going into the extension options and unchecking the box that says "show pop up when creating a new bookmark" because I don't need it every time, just sometimes. A simple right click on the bookmark itself will do!

This works well enough and it's a clever workaround to the problem. I'd like it if it was possible to bypass the "are you sure you want to open in a container" dialog, but I think that's a limitation of the Container Tabs plugin. Still, this plugin is nice because it saves a few clicks and basically does what I want it to.

I wanted to have 2 bookmarks on my toolbar of the same page but to open in different containers and with this extension it works like a charm, thank you very much!

この拡張機能につきましては、ブックマーク作成時に開きたいコンテナを指定する事で、以後開いた時はそのコンテナの新しいタブで表示される事を期待してインストールしてみたのですが、実際には開いているタブのコンテナと同じコンテナの新しいタブに開かれます。

使用時に期待した動作をしてくれないだけでも問題なのですが、それ以上に問題なのがブックマークの復元やインポートをする際にこの拡張機能のダイアログがブラウザクラッシャーと同様の動作をしてしまう点です。
そのため、ブックマークの復元やインポートの前には、この拡張機能を無効化する必要があります。

以上の点について、今後改善がなされるよう希望します。

12 hours after installing it, I opened Firefox on my other machine and the bookmark dialog boxes started relentlessly popping up. I checked my original machine and the same thing started happening. Had a difficult time closing all of them since they didn't stop. To add insult, they ate up a lot of my memory which made it hard to get anything done. I was finally able to get to my addon manager screen and disable it but boy was it a pain. I would stay away from this addon until its polished. Nice idea though.

A must have addition if you use "Multi-account Containers". Work as intended.
