    this add on works by redirecting mobile website links to the normal version, however this app doesn't spoof device info which is how most websites determine whether or not to use mobile layouts, so this app doesnt usually work except to disable URL redirects.

    i tried using this from my android device and opening youtube in a default tab... and it did not perform the advertised work of switching to a desktop site.

    5 stars when this app used to work. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't work for 65.0.1? I'm on an android yoga book, which has had problems being compatible all on its own. but this app did work once upon a time for me...

    Which websites specifically do not work? Desktop Everywhere uses a whitelist so only ones specifically added will redirect.

    English Wikipedia pages cannot be displayed.
    Good news is that i rarely use Firefox .
    Opera for android is so much better.

    firefox want use mobile version of the Google search by default. this addon dosnt fix that.

    Tried to go to https://web.whatsapp.com/ to enable WhatsApp on tablet. Defaults to https://www.whatsapp.com/ request desktop site ticked. Do not know what is meant by whitelisting and Github. Any help?

    Thanks a lot for adding lemonde.fr, however it's not working on firefox under android (fennec version of firefox).

    when opening the website it goes into a loop, trying to open the webpage a few times then returns "400 Bad request. Your browser sent an invalid request"

    I believe that Le Monde redirect all mobile User-Agents to the mobile site but Desktop Everywhere rewrites the URL to the desktop site which loops until 400 error. Could you try ticking the "Request desktop site" in the Firefox Android hamburger menu? I will add this suggestion to the README. Also better to file issues on GitHub since I do not receive notifications here.

    Edit regarding developers answer:
    Desktop website was working before. I didn't want to tick it, that's why I've installed this add-on.
    Not gonna try this one again.
    Found one which works perfectly.
