This extension immediately improved my page loading speed. I saw these benefits on links from google search and sites with google tracking (it didn't remove tracking, just load speed). I'm satisfied.

This cleans URLs as you visit them, however it A) sends system notification popups every-time you visit a link via google's search results (can be disabled, but is very annoying behaviour by default), and B) does not clean URLs when copied to the clipboard.
