The extension works only on real links. You probably clicking it on fake links.
Would you mind providing the page which causing the problem?

Useful when reading comics, open all pages at once.
But hope it has a selection tool like uselect-idownload in chrome store.

Currently, this extension focus on function that detect links intelligently.

But you can try another Firefox add-on named "Snap Links Plus". I think that is what you want.
