The quickstart guide is like: "It's easy to set up Keypass!"

1. Download the installer.
2. Install the automatic plugin from this URL
3. Click here to enter a password
4. Now click through these five forms and type in some arbitrary words that you can't understand
5. Now simply type all your old passwords into the password manager [I am not making this up]
6. Now whenever you want to login to a website, just click on the URL from within Keypass manager! [again, I am not kidding]

I mean full respect for these guys, I like the dream of open source security and good for them for trying to implement it. But it's just so unusable. I'll stick with the closed source versions because (a) at least there, somebody's company is on the line if they f*** up. (b) They can kind of make a password manager that a normal human might use.

    Ich finde es interessant, dass sich jemand diese Mühe macht, eine derartige Lösung zu entwickeln.
    Was mir prinzipiell nicht gefällt bei einem derart sensiblen Thema, ist, dass eine Einzelperson so etwas bereitstellen kann, ohne dass Mozilla hier irgendeine Security-Qualitätssicherung gewährleistet. In meinen Augen absoluter Wahnsinn.
    Dem Autor möchte ich hier nichts unterstellen, aber gerade Einzelkämpfer können leicht manche Sicherheitslücken übersehen.
    Die Lösung ist super und ich wäre glücklich, wenn Keepass das offiziell übernehmen würde!

    It doesn't work - popup can't find connection. When i manualy go to setings and there press "Connect" then do nothing.

    스팀비번을 바꿔도 자꾸 해외에서 로그인하는게 이거 때문인것같음. 아무리 생각해봐도 뭐 다른데서 털릴일이 없는데 바꿔놓고 한참지나면 또 누가 로그인함. 처음 의심한건 x-notifier라는 이메일관련 확장이었는데 이메일이 털려서 로그인까지 성공하는건 아닌거보면 이 확장프로그램이 제일의심이감. 삭제한지 한달지났는데 아직 누가 로그인했다는메일은 안날라옴.

    While I was very happy with this plugin, it now does not work anymore with Firefox 69 and later!
    But wait: formerly I used KeePassXC-Plugin in KeePass. Now I switched to KeePassHttp - and KeePassHttp-Connector works as before!
