used to work great, now it doesn't work at all. what's an illegal character nowadays in URLs?? developer is MIA. i moved back to quickcut.

You still have to go through about five steps to create a simple desktop shortcut, and even then you have to "approve" opening it every time. Am I missing something? Where is the simple part? And the options are just baffling, no help at all. Either truly make it simple or better explain how to do it.

BTW, you could always just drag the URL to the desktop to create a shortcut. Now that is simple!
