This extension has single-handedly helped me go from reading 10 books a year to 10 books a month. I had a huge TBR and it was really disheartening to check book after book in my library's multiple catalogs and see they didn't have it. Now I just open the page on Storygraph, see if my library has it, and then apply book tags if they do. I also have multiple library cards and this saves me so much time. The thing I probably love most though is how responsive the devs are. I've only had a couple issues and both times they got back to me quickly and kept me updated. It's really great to see people so dedicated to helping people support libraries instead of buying them on a certain evil website.

The best way to choose between buying or borrowing a book from the library. This extension is great but has unfortunately exposed the dearth of books available in my local library system. I like that it separates out ebook from paper book availability.

Why buy a book if your library has it? You can usually get the e-book or audiobook immediately!

I used to be a book hoarder, but after hauling around hundreds of pounds of books in bins, the books rarely left the bin unless they were a favorite.

Now, all the non-favorites are gone. New books are all e-books because it's more convenient, or I get them on audio book, especially non-fiction books.

I cannot love this extension enough! It is often able to find books that I can't even find by searching for them IN my library catalogue! Recently my library changed systems and my beloved Library Extension stopped working. Crushed, desperate, but not really hopeful, I sent a help request to the team. TO MY SHOCK they fixed it and sent me a note back that all was up and running again!! If you're an avid reader, but prefer to reduce and reuse, saving Amazon purchases for the rare times you must, this extension is invaluable.

Love it, but if you could add CloudLibrary it would be even better! CloudLibrary is pretty extensive, and I find myself manually checking it and finding lots of stuff that are missing in Hoopla, Libby, etc.
