It won't sync.

It's been very useful to me, I've finally stopped using text files on my laptop and phone. As a bonus it keeps my notes in sync wherever I am.

Really like it. Love the formatting options; although, it needs more options like an http link option, so the entire URL doesn't need to be pasted into the document.

My previous review was about how nice and simple this is, and how I did not want fancy formatting etc That is still true, but I now have a complaint. So, I want to use this briefly once every few days, usually to transfer some text from Android phone to laptop where Firefox is running all the time,l sometimes the other way round. EVERY TIME I now find the Android Notes throwing up a screen how I have to log back into my Mozilla Account, a screen for user name, a screen for password, then a wait for an email (except I always get two identical ones for no reason), have to open the email and click on a link, then wait for and click through the OK screen before FINALLY the Android Notes will Sync. Why? No - WHY? Same laptop PC, same phone, both running Firefox for a chunk of the day. THEY don't insist I have to log back in every time I start them up, so why does Android Notes? It is INFURIATING and makes other what I thought of as long-winded methods of transferring some text between laptop and phone actually quicker and less involved than using Notes. PLEASE do something about this.
And then when I'm logged in, I appear to haev to manually sync the Android notes after each new note or deleted note, which I'm sure I didn't used to have to do.

Syncing is not perfect yet: if you make changes both on desktop and mobile, Notes won't combine them, just will overwrite an older (even a split second older) version with a newer one. And adding folders and/or tags would be nice, yes. Otherwise, a great extension/app.

Great thing, especially the simple but effective android app. It just replaced the cumbersome one note that takes ages to load. Just keep improving!

While it's nice that you can use markdown, the absence of tags for organising things (and/or the absence of folders) makes this next to useless.
The integration with Firefox and the syncing with Android is a great idea but since the note-taking app itself is primitive it's hard to see a reason to use it.

So, keep the great syncing, add in tags and if you really want to conquer/liberate the planet add in copy/paste of images, i.e. screenshot captures and that's pretty much it, game over.

And what about a Search functionality, shouldn't this be a basic for any notes app ?

I know there are open issues on github for all of the above.

To be honest, if this wasn't done by mozilla/firefox I wouldn't have taken to time to comment, but you people do alot of good, nay great, stuff so you've gotten us used to far better quality than this.

Seems google-analytics.com has been removed :)

It is nice but I have lost (parts of) notes out of nowhere and now I have one note that syncs except for the last word. But the idea is good and I hope it becomes perfect (and allows for ordering the notes yourself at some point). An easy way to change the shortcut would be nice, alt-shift-w is a lot and ctl-shift-w closes the browser.. oops.

I am sure there is a problem with the synchronization. I wrote a message on the Android phone. After I deleted this in Firefox, it still exists in the phone. I spent many days synchronizing many times, but it is still the same，until I edit this message. After the wrong information, is normally synchronized. Two more cases，No synchronization has been successful yet

If can increase the picture sync (which can limit the total capacity), I will be very very happy .（I don't know if I am Insatiable or self-motivated）

EDIT: I can finally install it. Thanks for listening to users. I put 5 stars because I believe this is the best addon available for taking notes on Firefox. And the fact that it uses Sync makes it so convenient.

I'll use it once it gets rid of Google Analytics.
@Mozilla: you should review your policies and maybe start replying to users instead of ignoring them.

I like that it uses markdown for formatting. I like the sync. I would like to see a widget for the android that could be used as a full screen visual on the phone

Pretty convenient being always there in the browser and the sync works well between your devices. Very simple, so I think maybe not aimed at being your main productivity app, but I would perhaps like to see a tags facility added as a light organisation option.
