Just added this on - love it already! If there could be some kind of pop up or warning when you go to delete a note -- along the lines of "Are you sure you want to delete this note? This action cannot be undone" -- that would be super helpful. Thanks!

The dark mode is bogged, there is always a clear toolbar at the bottom of the extension panel :(. It hurts the eyes.

Really good extension! Simple and practical, that's what I need. They also listened to the user comments and added a dark mode, it seems, unless it was there all along and difficult to actually access (I discovered it by accident). Another important thing that I have seen no extension do before which I need: Please keep an option to auto pause videos while I'm typing and play as soon as I stop! That would be so useful while taking notes for online courses! That's all, thanks.

Sadly this project is no longer maintained. It's sync feature is no longer available(though the default note for new installs says it can be activated).
With a few more features(folders, tags, note colors, sync) this plugin could greatly improve firefox user experience.

Simple but powerful. The only caveats:
- This extension is much too quick to convert symbols to markup -- e.g. if you are trying to jot down math notes (like "-2 * 3 = 6 * -1") the extension WILL italicize the "3 = 6" instead of leaving the asterisks untouched. Which is an "always on" behavior, you don't get any means to disable it.
- The extension is no longer actively maintained (so issues like the above are NOT going to be fixed ... ever).

I'd love to find a note-taking extension to serve as an updated version of this one, but until that day comes, this is still one of the best (despite its flaws).

Convenient addon but there are some flaws

One issue I have is, the extension icon doesn't change colour when using dark theme. All other icons turn white while the notes icon remains black, making it almost impossible to see.

If the extention could sync via the browser's built-in functionality, I'd give this five stars.

It does what it says, but note that the sync no longer exists, despite what the welcome page says.
Apparently, sync is no longer available as the extension is no longer maintained. (Search "Firefox Notes status")

Dark theme needs some tune up (tested on Windows): some fields remain light. Also it would be great to have an option to change fonts. :)
And yes, the other reviewers are right, search is a must!

I am wondering if it is possible to enable the copy / paste functions inside of the sidebar. It does not seem to work for Firefox either by shortcut keys or mouse context menus (using Mac OS)
