Maybe it's better to make a mode on icon (p2.svg) with a different color, such as red, for example (or even to place in settings input for color). When I enable proxy, I forget to disable it too often. With a colored icon, there is more chance to detect its active state.

P.S. I already made it for myself but may be it will be usefull for anybody else.
P.P.S. Not much that helps, forgot turn off again. :)

    Simple and effective. Instantly switches over to the proxy.
    My use case is an SSH dynamic port forward (ssh -D ), so this is ideal when I want to jump on/off the local network and go via that SOCKS proxy.

    I have a dynamic titlebar colour and when it's dark I can't see the icon, so it would be an enhancement request to have the black logo with a 1px white outline. This would cover all dark/light use cases.

    Good job, nice plugin, easy to configure and just works.

    Simple and to the point, my only feedback for improvement would be to make the toolbar icon responsible to theme change. I currently use a dark theme, and the icon being black makes it hard to find.

    If u use this on Black Theme because of the Switch Color it's hard to see it so i even email the Richard West to add an option to Simply Change the Color of the Switch Between black and white so it will be more usable on black firefox theme
