sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 11278032, pred 8 rokmiI used to help maintain Vimperator which has now stopped development due to Firefox addon API deprecation. Tridactyl however has proven to be a worthy successor! The user experience is great, and long time users of similar addons such as Pentadactyl should feel at home. Due to the nature of changes in WebExtensions and its earlier and current limitations I'm really excited to see it come this far!
Importantly, the project also has great development momentum with lots of features being added or bugs being fixed all the time. This is truly a breath of fresh air in the enthusiast community of power users looking to vimify or otherwise enhance their browser experience, which for some time has been stale with the foreshadowing of the deprecation of XUL/XPCOM and ultimately the need to port or discard lots and lots of old code.
Remember to check out #tridactyl on the many platforms its available, including the ever present Freenode. More information can be found in the README on their GitHub project.

I've found that it doesn't completely replace mouse navigation for me; several sites I use have nonconventional clickable elements (not buttons/hrefs) and so the `f` finder doesn't highlight them, and `;;` highlights so many things it's hard to find the right one.
I'm still solidly on the learning curve, but it's already made certain actions way quicker for me, and I love the command line- with some quick theming it's probably the coolest thing about my Firefox now!
The native plugin works seamlessly too- and the ability to edit text in my preferred editor (Shoutout to Helix!) has been great as well.
Solid work, highly recommended to give it a shot if you like modal editors. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 17112212, pred 25 dňamifantastique. tridactyl is the most thought out and perfected exploration of what is imo an important branch of browsers as technology.

- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur TypicalUser128, pred mesiacomIt works on more sites than Vimium. It's faster than Vimium. Tridactyl is simply better than Vimium. Only Qutebrowser is more effective than this. Wow.

- Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Aseqdac Firefox 18524146, pred 2 mesiacmiI have tried Vimium, Vimium C, Surfing Keys, and a few others; however, Tridactyl is the best. It is comparable in terms of raw power and capability to Qutebrowser, which is remarkable. I have yet to find a use case where a Qutebrowser solution did not also work in Tridactyl. My favorite features include the `:command` mode to execute complex commands (including chaining them), the ability to use custom JavaScript, the tridactylrc file (makes it easy to sync dotfiles), the ability to control other add-ons, and the ability to control Firefox itself (i.e., clear history, local storage, etc: by time or whatever). It is without a doubt the most feature-rich Vim-like browser add-on; as a result, it also loads the slowest. It also currently has issues with Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, so you may need to use an alternative (like Vimium) for those sites. Lastly, this add-on also requires the most learning and configuration to use efficiently, as it is the most complex. In conclusion, if you are a power user who strives to abandon the mouse entirely with full control over the browser, then Tridactyl is the add-on for you. But if you just want something simple, then Vimium or Surfing Keys are always an option too.

I just remove default Ctrl-f bind since it is burned into my muscle memory that it’s this to find on a web browser. - Yettwasezmel 5 ɣef 5sɣur Flat, dark and simple, pred 6 mesiacmiAmazing extension, only lacking on the theme documentation
