as of feb 11 2026 it worked fine for blocking a channel in search results. refreshed search results page, still blocked.

Playlists from channels I've blocked are still appearing while searching videos. Also, the "Block Channel" option isn't available when clicking the three-dot menu on comments. Clicking on the link of a blocked video still plays the video even when direct access blocking is on.

Just what I was looking for, works great!

But now I'm left wanting premade/community blocklists, too :p

Firefox 143.0.3 with 0.4.6 works fine.
It is a MUST add-on for FF browsing YouTube.

Last update was over 8 months ago, since than a few features stopped working. Blocked channels and the option to block works in home page but not in video sidebar. Some random select videos are blocked no matter what and can't be unblocked. Works fine otherwise but those 2 issues are really big annoyances.
edit: Sept 15, 2025 update fixed my complaints :)
