Amazon is being really stupid, every search I did that stupid panel would move everything aside so I have to wait for that to load. Thank you for making this!

Would give actual money for this extension if this were a general purpose AI helper blocker on all pages. So many sites now have intrusive chatbots covering key parts of the website. Do they not do actual user testing anymore? This used to be a key metric in website performance back in the the day and would have failed every single test. Was gearing up to write my own extension just for this.

Holy hell, this should be included by DEFAULT. Removes the stupid AI slop prompt that CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTS YOU on the website, permanently without issues. Will never install Firefox onto another machine without this plugin now.

Works great; thank you! One thing I noticed, however, is that there are alexa results in the search bar! I hope that gets addressed!

While this extension is amazing for removing the Alexa for shopping side bar, it also does not keep your cursor in the main search bar where you clicked in to start typing. This is my main reason for hating the Alexa for shopping in the first place.

If this extension could keep my cursor in the search bar after clicking it, this will be a 5 star extension and prevent me from wanting to cancel my Amazon membership.

It works perfectly. No more Alexa/Rufus. The dog died so they decided to call the AI Rufus, now that's dead too!

Literally made an account just to leave a review for this extension because I am so sincerely thankful to the dev for making this. That Alexa AI was making me insane!!! Why on earth would someone think, "oh let's implement a feature on our website that literally interrupts the process of online shopping with an annoying, intrusive popup that can never be shut off!" Seriously makes me wonder if Amazon HQ is just ran by the stupid AI at this point since I cannot fathom how a real person who has ever felt love or hope could even think up something so asinine.

Anyway, thank you SO much for making this extension. I know complaining about the stupid AI popup while I'm browsing Amazon is the epitome of "first world problems," but you have saved me a lot of annoyance by making this, lol. Your work is very, very appreciated!

I am really excited about this add-on in concept. The AI takeover of every online service is absolutely disgusting! But when I installed the add-on and ran it, Amazon's page blew up! I keep getting "too many connection attempts" and an otherwise blank page. It also says it is "NOT SECURE" which I find much more concerning. Yes, I am on the newest Firefox. Yes, I have checked my cache. If this gets fixed, I'll update my review. <3

While helpful, it causes the main portion of the page to extend off the right side of the screen. This leads to an obnoxious horizontal scrolling.

Alexa for shopping on the Amazon website is gone! Just the extension the world needs.

Almost works perfectly for me, I'd be so excited if it was fully working. It removes the AI popup box (thank god) but the rest of the page ends up with a weird layout bug where I can scroll side to side to see all the products even when zoomed all the way out.

I think this might be caused by the way the page layout gets updated to make space for the popup on firefox for some reason. It doesn't show up on chrome. Doesn't appear to be caused by any conflict with my other extensions.

Thank you for undermining their incessant desire to use AI to infest every computer system with their "idea" of an ideal online marketplace. Rufus and all the space it wasted on the screen is affront to the senses, and an insult to those with feverish levels of intelligence. I hope this cold, insufferable push to remove what little agency we have left when making our own decisions burns down their market-share to ash.

Works great on Firefox for Android! Wish they'd add official support for it so updates would apply automatically. Rufus is so annoying!

Early days but working great so far. Can't believe a shop would make it worse and harder to actually buy stuff but there you go.

Does not work correctly. The whole screen goes blank on Amazon page when this is used. Maybe an update is needed? IDK

Initially I tried a range of custom filters for uBlock that I had found on Reddit as well as creating a few of my own. At best, I could disable Rufus but could not remove the associated popup. Those custom filters may have worked in the past, but it's clear recent updates have rendered them mostly useless. And I was also not too keen on playing this potential game of whack-a-mole anyway.

Enter this extension. It works, offers a quick toggle, and seems trustworthy based on the asked-for permissions and description. Couldn't ask for anything more.

UPDATE- All Amazon pages load to a blank page now. With the extension off there are no issues.

It just works. Also I like the cute fox pictures disparaging rufus.

AI "assistants" are the most irritating part of software today. I installed this and Amazon returned to normal. 5/5 stars, Thank you!
