What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Information Collected. urlCaster Web extension in no way stores or collects any data or browser history on our servers.The only information collected is a randomly generated request code of numbers which is needed by the urlCaster app to function in transfering web pages from the app to mozilla browser.

Cookies. We do not collect any form of cookies or browser sessions.


How Do We Use Your Information?

Tranfering a web page from phone. urlCaster generates a random code of counting numbers which is then sent to our servers. The user then scans this QR code generated numbers with the urlCaster app which then opens the url page shared with the urlCaster app based on the request code sent to the server.

Transferring web pages to phone. During this process no url link or any sort of data is sent to our servers. The shared(copy and pasted) link from user is generated into a scannable link. Upon scanning with urlCaster app, the app allows the user to select his/her preferred browser of choice on the mobile device

Advertising. We do not collect any information or browser history for advertising purposes.
How Do We Protect the Security of Your Information?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.



No system can guarantee absolute security, just as the finest lock can not guarantee physical security. However, we take every reasonable precaution to assure that your data is secure.
Children

We do not knowingly sell products or services to children. If you are under 13, you may use this site only with involvement of a parent or guardian.
