Very disappointed that a useful extension like this is being removed so that websites like Amazon can continue their predatory selling tactics.

Why is this NOT removed when it's been shut down! Remove it from the extension site!

Fakespot was formerly one of the best Firefox add-ons. Since it is now GONE, Fakespot is useless. I need an alternative. Dear Fakespot - Firefox: WHY?????

still works past the 1st somehow for me. rating 1 star bc i'm mad at mozilla for pulling a microsoft and shutting down something that a lot of people relied upon. especially without any given reason or any news from the original developers as to why. this was genuinely one of THE BEST extensions you couldve gotten for firefox, outside of privacybadger and ublock origin. why did you buy this if you're just going to shut it down 2 years later? what would be smarter is either keeping it up, letting the original devs have it back, make it open source, or implement the feature directly into the browser itself. extremely dumb decision.

Fakespot completely broke Firefox for me. As soon as I installed it, every single page stopped loading—just an endless loading screen, no matter what site I tried. Thought it might be my connection, but other browsers on the same machine worked fine. Uninstalled Fakespot, and Firefox was instantly back to normal. Hard to see how it wasn’t the addon causing the issue.

Unless they fix whatever’s going on here, I can’t recommend it at all.

Amazon.se is not supported

I consider amazon.nl, amazon.com.be, amazon.de etc to be "Amazon" websites with Amazon reviews. Yet I'm getting "this website is not supported" errors. The extension is pretty much useless to me and probably most non-USA customers. Sad.

It is really really bad. Trusted brands get an F Grade "High deception". Trusted Market leading Brands like Bosch. It doesn't tell you why it thinks its "high deception" it is basically just "Trust me bro".

And it also tells me that dropshipping junk on Amazon is "A" from Vendor A and "D" from Vendor B, what is itt now, it comes from the same droppshipping company.

Dont bother its absolute garbage.

A random number generator would be more accurate than this extension

This add-on has a built-in conflict-of-interest by redirecting you to other products if it says the reviews on a site are unreliable.

Thing is, it is NOT POSSIBLE to determine whether reviews are fake or not. It is certainly possible to write a review and this app thinks it is fake, thereby taking away any voice consumers may have.

Also, if certain people write reviews that are bot-like or sound like a fake review, their reviews are not counted.

Too many things to go wrong with this, and the collection of data and inherent problems with the app making money by sending you to other sites make this add-on a non-starter.
