- Waardering: 2 van 5door ReyMcSriff, één dag geledenLove Onetab, but not a fan of the most recent update. Not sure why they changed it to this forced center-aligned layout with no ability to change it to something like previous versions, but it makes for a ton of wasted space on either side on my 1440p monitor. I also have the bug with Onetab auto-pinning its own tab every time it opens but they've mentioned they'll fix that soon, at least. Reverted to an older version for now.

één dag geleden geplaatstHi, thanks for the feedback. We'll be releasing a fix soon that will make OneTab remember if you un-pin it. - Waardering: 2 van 5door Dapper Shark, 6 dagen geledenLargely I'm not that bothered by the update, I agree with folks that center align is jarring and I would like to go back to left align but alas, what does bother me though, is whenever I'm in the "one tab" tab, my scrollbar becomes so tiny that its unusable, the only option is to adjust the window which is not what I'm after.
give me a fix or fix it and I'll change the review.Antwoord van ontwikkelaar

We'll add an option for this. - Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 14617785, 19 dagen geledenCurrent ui on Android makes using onetab baffling. Desktop version is perfect tho.
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Anon, 2 maanden geledenI'm going to go out on a limb and assume this extension must have pre-dated the firefox group feature, because it's essentially an extension that does something firefox already has built in.
You simply select one or more tabs, right click, "add to group", have several groups if you so please, then when you want to leave the group/s of tabs to return to later, just right click and select "save and close group", and voilà. You can find you saved groups in the tab drop-down, NOT the bookmarks drop-down. Don't know if its universally displayed as such across devices but on my linux desktop it is the drop-down at the top right, 4th button from the right edge. Looky like-an upside-down ^ - i honestly dont know where that symbol is on the keyboard lmao.
In my opinion, when features are added that defeats the purpose of an extension, or a large chunk of an entire category of extensions, the developers should remove their extensions to help clean up the extensions hub, reduce confusion amongst the easily-confused, and realise they ought to stop beating a dead horse, el chapo.
But thats just my two cents, and after all, what do i know, aside from everything? - Waardering: 2 van 5door FooBar, 5 maanden geledenGood idea but a major showstopper flaw. WHen you click the ontab icon it sends ALL tabs to onetab. Rarely does one want that. The default should be to send the current tab to oneTab. I have made this mistake several time. Even on the dropdown menu "send this tab" should be the first option. ALso no way to create a new grouping in the onetab page so that you can move closed tabs to a new group.

You will be able to choose whether you want the 1-click action or the popup window. The popup window will let you select exactly what you want to store. We've also implemented the ability to create a new empty group. It's currently released in beta for Chrome, and has not been released to all Chrome or Firefox users yet. We'd appreciate your feedback on the new version (currently, you'll have to install it in Chrome to try it). - Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 14094712, 8 maanden geledenI exported my tabs from the Brave extension to come to Firefox (well, Zen), and it didn't export the names of my groups. This isn't a big deal for me, except sometimes I've put videos in their with the tab name as the timestamp, so of course that's gone. It's not like,,, horribly confusing or whatever, just extremely limited I guess. And I also lose the add date of the info.
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 14307212, 9 maanden geledenThe only advantage of OneTab is that it converts tabs into links thus saving memory. Other than that it's slow and maddeningly clunky. First of all, the website must be open; a left click on it starts you on a 6-step process just to save it to OneTab. This would take seconds if a tab could just be dragged and dropped into a tab group but that's not how it works. And when you close the website it doesn't return to its place in the OneTab list. You have to go through the entire procedure again if you still want to save it. Secondly, organizing tabs is a many hour process with little instructional guidance especially if you already have many links in the OneTab list. There just isn't an easy way to do anything. As said, it saves memory and that's all.

- Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 18920686, één jaar geledenIt disappeared all records,again!!
I realized that the better way is not use it. - Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 18778341, één jaar geledenIt's convenient when it works. Today is the THIRD time it has lost all my bookmarks. This time was without warning because I had not done anything that should have changed any settings.
If you do use this add-on, be sure that you are frequently exporting your list so that you reduce the amount of bookmarks you lose between OneTab failures. - Waardering: 2 van 5door butidigress, één jaar geledenGood until Firefox updates or your computer crashes--then say goodbye to your tab hoard! They will be permanently lost.
- Waardering: 2 van 5door SuperGamer567, één jaar geledenit does not save my tabs Just deletes them. | EDIT: i do not like this mod. | EDIT AGAIN: Whoever came up with this, it is a bad idea.

- Waardering: 2 van 5door flatmind, 2 jaar geledenGreat idea, would've used it if not for one HUGE deal-breaker: The forward-backward-history of each saved/closed tab is lost, which is essential to me. If this gets ever fixed, I'll gladly use it.

- Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 18547131, 2 jaar geledenDid not work at all. I reinstalled onetab and it have removed all my tabs without saving and cannot restore them except browser history
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 17061791, 2 jaar geledenSaved tabs take up system memory. Every once in a while, I have to export tabs to text document and restart list. Why is there no add-on that just hyperlinks the tabs for me?
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Никого_нет_всех_якши_унесли, 2 jaar geledenDecided to check on this extension, and no warning, no asking, it just in a moment screw all my tabs groups.
It need a lot of improvement before it would be useful. - Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 17037365, 2 jaar geledenit's good, but you won't love it any more once you lose the tabs stashed
- Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 18370053, 2 jaar geledenIt work's, and then one day you will loose everything.

- Waardering: 2 van 5door fuzzmanks, 2 jaar geledenI've been using OneTab for years in Firefox and Chrome...and in Edge more recently. It is great when it works but is not stable in Firefox which is my main browser. Constant failure to load extension options. For a couple of years, I could toggle off the extension and toggle back on and it would work. But for a few months now even restarting the browser takes several attempts before it loads OneTab properly. I've never been able to find a help forum...just a help page that doesn't seem to get updated and noting specific to Firefox users. I'm ready to jump ship to another product if I can find one I can live with.
- Waardering: 2 van 5door tar, 2 jaar geledenTabs in a private window are restored in a regular (non-private) window. This is extremely unwanted, violates privacy expectations, and is non-intuititve, Fetching site information (favicon) from Google without explicit user approval is clearly anti-privacy. Frankly, I am shocked and very disappointed that Mozilla awarded this extension a "Recommended" badge.

2 jaar geleden geplaatstHi, we included a cache of the top 1000 web site icons in OneTab, so that retrieving the icon can be avoided. In Chrome, there is a local favicon cache that we also access before retrieving any favicons, but Firefox does not yet have that feature. We will implement it as soon as it becomes available in Firefox. We are also working on a huge update to OneTab that will remember whether tabs were originally from incognito windows. - Waardering: 2 van 5door Firefox-gebruiker 13383315, 3 jaar geledenAfter one day's use, the pinned OneTab tab wouldn't load (just a series of seven dots alternative blinking), my other extensions' icons became unclickable and, worst of all, I lost all my carefully preserved tabs.
Update 2024: Nice idea, poor implementation, particularly as regards accessing and saving to named tab groups. - Waardering: 2 van 5door QHAL, 3 jaar geledenGreat concept but poor implementation. Always crashing, losing tabs, slows browser or becomes overwhelmed by the volume of tabs for stashing. There are other add-ons available that do the same thing, swiftly and reliably.
