This is a great idea that doesn't work - consistently randomly colors tabs and, as many have said, does NOT survive a browser restart - colored tabs go willy nilly. I only want to color a few and I get 10s of tab coloring on their own. Too buggy to be helpful.Antwoord van ontwikkelaar

Not without a theme and not WITH a theme. Just simply adds options to my tabs that doesn't do anything.

Sorry to hear that. It may be some other addons conflicting, which set their own tabs colors. Or it may also be your custom CSS setup in TreeStyleTabs, which overrides tabs colors.
I can't think of any other reason why tabs colors are not displayed to you.
