I wish i could block music videos based on the lyrics. I can't find an addon for that. :/

Works great but, since the latest update was last year, it will probably get obsolete in the near future.

It used to block Playlists from searches, but it no longer does, hopefully this gets fixed. Thanks for the add-on by the way

This morning, the block function suddenly stopped working on all YouTube pages. There are other people who have reported the same issue, so I hope that the functionality will be restored as soon as possible.

Had a great experience with this add-on. Would really like it if there was a way to block Short channels. Not ALL shorts, just channels like the normal videos. Fingers crossed that comes in the future! I've blocked so many channels though and it's made my yt so much better.

Good for blocking videos that I keep getting that I don't want to watch, though it would be nice if there was a setting that would still allow you to see the videos in search.

I have been using this for a little more than a week. On the plus side, I very much like the convenience of blocking titles/channels directly via the context menu, combined with the power of regex filters for getting rid of those pests that can be matched by a pattern and would otherwise keep cropping up like stubborn weeds; and finally some other very useful features such as blocking those intolerable shorts, and settings import/export capability. The downside, and reason for me not rating 5 stars, are the fact that some previously blocked titles still seem to slip through occasionally, and that updated filters do not get applied to the feed page without a reload - Channel Blocker (the only other extension that comes close IMO, but lacking several of the nice features of this one) manages to do that, so it certainly is possible.

The impression is that the extension stopped working normally after the update. I hope the author will make it possible to add channels to the blacklist by name, not ID. It's better than nothing.

Apparently, it works. But I'll admit I have no idea how to block SEVERAL different keywords in the video's title. I only observed it successfully blocked one.
Anyone knows, please?

I'm getting some compatibility issues when I use this together with Enhancer for Youtube. Otherwise, this is a great add-on.

Blocking channel names with simple names will block all channels with that name as part of the channel name (example: blocking a channel called "Cars" will also block "Fast Cars", "Bad Cars, etc.). Solution is to block by channel ID. But the plugin has no place or way to enter notes for channel ID's. If you block 50 channels, how are you going to remember what all 50 channels are by their ID hash, which is only what BlockTube will show? Solution would be to have a notes option for each channel ID, or even a way for the plugin to fetch the name of the channel at the time of blocking. So there's no solution for this right now other than to keep notes in a separate text file. Not ideal.

You would think there'd be plenty of ways by now for something as simple as "block a channel / block content by keyword", but this almost unknown addon is the only one that gets the job done. I only discovered it after installing the video-blocker add-on (which doesn't work at all) and after seeing a review for that addon that mentioned the blocktube. Please make this available on Firefox Android as well!
