av Arctic Circle System, 3 år sidanIt does prevent blacklisted sites from being displayed in your search results, but that's it. It doesn't actually block them from your search results.
What's the difference? Simple. When you first search for a given term without blocking any sites, Google displays a list of 8 results. It increases when you scroll down due to the annoying infinite scroll feature, but the first set has 8 results.
However, when you blacklist one of those sites with this extension, instead of showing a list of 8 results without that site, it instead shows a list of 7 or fewer results, indicating that the site still exists in your search results, it's just not being displayed by your browser. This can sometimes result in strange gaps in displayed results if a page of search results happens to be entirely composed of blacklisted results.

Edit: apparently the last good version is 8.12.0. The little Ø sign that appears on the corner of images does not do so on images that are loaded as you scroll down. it also stops blocking images from blacklisted sites. please fix this! i want to rid of ai slop forever! then i'll give you five stars :)
edit: okay so i found out that if you do your search query whilst having the "all" tab selected, then go to the "images" tab, then it works properly. However if you make a search whilst in the "images" tab, then it breaks. does not remove from the results in the Pictures sections, etc. in the same Google & DuckDuckGo. Please fix it, i like your addon.
Thanks for SERPINFO feature, finally on other search working (uBlacklist stopped removing certain sites from the search results that I want to avoid with all my might, for example abc.site.com I write it down as *:/abc.site.com /* and *:/*.site.com/*)

This kind of defeats the purpose really. There is an option in settings which supposedly hides it but it doesn't work. I'm on firefox mobile so no easy way to fix it. So minus one star for that. Otherwise very good, no issues.
