YouTube frequently updates its systems to counteract ad blockers, so our filter developers have to constantly monitor, test, and update the filters to keep them working. That level of dedicated maintenance has a real cost. We continue to offer the same free ad-blocking on YouTube that you rely on. We also continue to make frequent updates to our free ad-blocking filters. We have added a new set of faster, more resilient filters for our Premium users. Ultimately, our goal is to make ad-blocking and privacy accessible to everyone, and we rely on the support of our Premium users to make that happen.
