I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled both Clippings and Firefox without success. I downgraded to Clippings 6.0, which resolved the issue. Clippings then automatically updated to the latest version and now CTRL+A is not working. How do I completely disable the automatic updating of Clippings?

Data: 9 lat temuUPDATE: This issue is fixed in version 6.0.1.2. Original reply follows.
This is a bug in Clippings Manager which will be fixed in an upcoming release. Workaround: right-click on the textbox and click Select All from the context menu.
Hopefully there won't be a need to disable automatic updating of Clippings now that there is a temporary workaround solution -- but if you must still do it, turn off automatic updates in Add-ons Manager in Firefox.

So, you can use it to store and paste special characters, or search strings that you want to re-use, or text that you want to re-use. And you can store the snippets in folders that are easy to organize. You can even leave the Clippings mini tab open, as if it were a regular browser tab, and tug on the mini tab to make it bigger. It's just a wonderful extension.

I had Clippings assigned to the addon hotkey ALT-C for years in "Manage Extension Shortcuts", and it always worked. In the past few weeks this stopped working. Assigning letters other than C (I didn't test all letters, but 5 other letters) works as expected, it just doesn't work with ALT-C at all anymore. Not sure why.

Data: rok temuIt's likely that a recently-released new feature in Firefox, or a recently-installed extension, now uses the ALT+C shortcut.

Data: 2 lata temuAccording to Google Translate, you wrote that Clippings Manager keeps minimizing itself on Ubuntu.
In Clippings Manager, click Tools on the toolbar and then select Minimize When Inactive to toggle the setting on or off. This setting exists in Linux only and is a workaround for the window always being on top of other Firefox windows. You can opt to turn the setting back on when you need to switch between windows so that it doesn't get in the way.
In an upcoming new version of Clippings, an icon on the Clippings Manager status bar will make it easier to quickly turn the setting on or off in just one click.- Ocena: 1/5Autor: heyu, 2 lata temu

- does not search inside content, only title
- go to a category, insert clipping. It is not added into that category but to the bottom of the list requiring drag&drop
- it does not remember last window size, requiring resizing of the window
- after inserting new clipping, the cursor should be in the title field, it is not, requiring Tab key - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 14550105, 2 lata temu
