I used it out of laziness, but their recent change of disallowing free tier users to not be able to use it on two device types (i.e. 1 desktop, 1 mobile) is going to kill their business and is really a terrible idea.
With minimal research I found a completely free open source password manager - KeePassXC that syncs to ALL of my devices - I pay $0 for it. I now have the strongest unique passwords on every site and it even handles WiFi passwords and TOTP authenticator passwords. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 15586329, 4 lata temu

- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16684020, 4 lata temuSwitched to Bitwarden after LastPass killed the free tier for their overpriced premium membership. Bitwarden is so much better AND i'm happy to pay them $10 per year for their much better and more affordable service.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 14337927, 4 lata temuIn one of the least consumer friendly moves, the Free version is being crippled to only one device type (desktop or mobile). They're forcing you to fork over not an insignificant amount of money to regain the free features that have existed for years.
Fortunately, there's excellent if not better free alternatives nowadays without needing to compromise on features or security.
I recommend switching to Bitwarden. The export-import process is super easy too! - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16683428, 4 lata temuLong-time lastpass user. Can't believe they're removing ability to use lastpass across multiple devices. I'm done with them.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16683419, 4 lata temuSeverely limiting access to free accounts. Using their product on both a PC and a mobile phone costs 36 dollars a year, up 3x from before acquisition by LogMeIn.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Swank, 4 lata temuThey're "updating" free users, locking them to one device. It reminded me that it never even worked on mobile devices to begin with.
Do yourself a favor and switch to Bitwarden. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16683202, 4 lata temuThey updated the free version that only allows 1 device.

- Ocena: 1/5Autor: timmay!, 4 lata temu$36/year is too much for a password manager, and now that the free version is limited to only a single device (desktop OR mobile) it's completely useless. I, like everyone else, have switched to BitWarden - $10/year is far more reasonable.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Termus, 4 lata temuSince being purchased by LogMeIn they've decided to limit you to ONE device for a free account. I've now uninstalled and am switching to another password management application.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 15859820, 4 lata temuLastPass, "All your data is available on any device for free," ""Anything you save on one device is instantly synced on all your other devices."
Free? Not anymore.
Android app news sites, "LastPass nerfs free tier, effectively forcing users to pay for Premium."
Needed to dump it anyways. Regularly seems to forget my passwords and makes several duplicate entries for same sites. Uninstalling..... - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16367727, 4 lata temuUsed to be a simple, free app that worked as advertized. By March 2021 you'll need to pay a fee for the luxury of using it on both mobile and desktop. BYE!
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: JD, 4 lata temuBait and switch -- used to be free sync across platforms. Now expensive monthly fee.
Use Bitwarden instead (free extension and server and fully open source) - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Its_its, 4 lata temuNo longer "Free" can only be used on ONE device type. Computers or Mobile Devices.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16682682, 4 lata temu"All your data is available on any device for free"... This will be false in about a month. "The last password you'll ever need"... Yeah until you start forcing users to pay monthly for BASIC FEATURES.
This has always worked okay for me, not great, just okay. Kind of glad I've been motivated to migrate away. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16682133, 4 lata temuAufrund der Änderung wird LastPass sehr untraktiv.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: Anonymous, 4 lata temuWith the upcoming changes to the free account, LastPass is not completely useless.
- Ocena: 1/5Autor: MsAmy, 4 lata temuThe addon works fine, but the upcoming "device type" changes will ruin it for free users.
