I installed your Malwarebytes Guard extension on Android, but I can’t configure it. I want website tracking to be blocked, but not ads. I opened the extension settings, went to “All Protection Settings,” and tried to uncheck the ads option, but the checkbox won’t turn off. Please fix this issue. - Ocena: 4/5Autor: Otmar, 5 dni temuI'm more or less satisfied, except that sometimes it doesn't detect that I have a premium plan and the ad blocking also sometimes doesn't work.

Bloquera pas mal de petite chose notamment les pubs et se montre flexible et facile a prendre en mains.
Une extension a utilisé systématiquement. - Ocena: 4/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 12730009, 9 miesięcy temuIt's great i actually only run MBBG these days but its certainly got some slowdown issues happening at the moment, I look forward to the next update as even on pages i have whitelisted get bogged down.

Also, the 'Access your data for all websites' option is listed as optional, but it’s necessary for the program to work. I know you’ve been pretty transparent about how the data is used, but this does raise some concerns about data security as the company isn’t open-source.Odpowiedź autora

With a premium subscription on Windows, you do get access to your detection history; not exactly what you asked for, but maybe you'll find it useful.
"Access your data for all websites" is indeed a required permission, and I do understand your concern. On Firefox, we don't collect any data. Full privacy policy is here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/privacy/policy-for-browser-guard.
If you are technically inclined, you can see all the requests Browser Guard makes by doing the following:
1. Navigate to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
2. Next to Malwarebytes Browser Guard, click "Inspect"
3. Click "Network" in the new console that opens, from there you can see all network traffic Browser Guard is making. - Ocena: 4/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 16171046, rok temu

- Usually good till youtube messes with things. The last while, it may have started causing massive memory leaks with youtube. Just like it youtube does with other popular adblockers. Even turning off the adblock function of this addon, there might still be memory leaks. I could be wrong though. Might be worth looking into? Maybe let us turn off storing client-side data?

Data: rok temuThanks for the feedback, we have a major update for Firefox coming soon.
Unfortunately client side data is needed to store the databases that protect you. - The tool is excellent, but the current problem is that the Browser Guard for Mozilla Firefox version is not receiving updates to the latest version available like other browsers. The website says it is already at version 3.0 and here it is at version: 2.6.27. Please update, we know how important it is to keep the software updated and with the latest definitions.

Data: rok temuFirefox is still getting database updates every 30 minutes for new threats in the wild.
We are currently working on migrating the Firefox extension to the new Manifest v3 format (MV3).
Due to the differences between Firefox and Chromium (Chrome, Edge etc.) engines we've had to take more time to ensure it is right.
We are hoping to have a beta of the new Firefox MV3 version out soon.

Individual pages seem to load faster, but the behavior of the browser itself before and after loading seems to deteriorate (especially when multiple pages are opened at the same time).
Also, some sites don't respond to reCAPTCHA authentication, which may have been blocked.
I think the ability to detect trackers and block malware domains is high, scam sites (phishing?) aren't counted yet, so I'll leave them out of the current reference.Odpowiedź autora
