por Swololo, há 6 mesesGreat extension. Could you please add a way to copy hiragana/katakana that shows the romaji as well? It would be really helpful for people who are starting with japanese. Quite often I have to copy the expression into google translate to see the romaji.

publicado há 6 mesesThank you so much!
I'm afraid I couldn't quite follow your suggestions, however. If you enable romaji display in the settings and look at a work like テスト you should see "tesuto" in the popup and also when you copy the entry.
(Note that the extension will not work on addons.mozilla.org because Firefox blocks extensions from working there.)
Could you please email me at info@birchill.co.jp to let me know what is missing. Thank you!

- Avaliado em 5 de 5por lipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, há 6 diasi have been using the extension to study japanese and it changed my life seriously, text extractor would always broke so i got tired of it and decided play visual novels without it, it was very hard tho because everytime a kanji i didnt know appeared i would have to get my phone take a picture on google translator copy the kanji and then search it, maybe doesnt sound that hard but when u study japanese for many hours every day it is exhausting ngl. so i find this extension out and is crazy how good it is, i am playinng tsukihime on tsukiweb and literally u can play and hover in real time, the dictonary is one of the most completes so instead of having to read a lot of webites the extension does it all, it is very rare not finding a word reading or kanji with this extension i mean VERY rare, and the definitions, readings and all features are pretty thorough, it shows the kanji frequency, writing order and a lot more, my only tip for improvement is in the kanji section it would be nice to have a little list of compounds using the kanji we selected, so we can get a grasp in advance of the general use further than just the defnitions. For example 血blood 管 tube 血管 blood vessel veins, like that a little list maybe 5-10 examples of the most common kanjis using that compound. Aditionally i talked about playing website visual novels but it goes beyond, u can also use it to read light novels online and simply hover over any word u dont know. then u ask me: what about steam visual novels or such (thats what i use most for learning btw, if u wanna leave intermediary level higurashi series is my reccomendation for u). well i recently discovered that if u press windows+shift+t u can copy any text on screen fairly easily, then u can search it or just paste the sentence anywhere on google and hover over the things u interested in using the extension. also if u dont wanna change windows everytime u do it u can minimize the google/firefox window and press control+windows+t to fix the window, and even if u click on the game outside of the browser the browser`s window will be fixed there and wont dissapear. the shortcuts may be different on ur computer but they do exist so u just got find out which one is the one for ur computer, last but not least for using the commands u will probably have to install powertoys and set it up. there are lots of youtube tutorials explaning how to do so. anyway after one year having to take my phone out every 5 minutes opening translator, copying, pasting, searching for every word i was being driven crazy, the most amazing thing is that this extension is free, i would totally pay for it if it was paid but it is free wow. i wish i could optionally buy a coffee to creator tho i searched for it but i didnt find it. anyway thank u so much man/ma`am. i reccomend this extension to everyone learning japanese thats for sure.

Once you look up the word, you can find the kanji decomposition. It's detailed and easy at the same time. Please try.Resposta do desenvolvedor
