Wouldn't one have been able to define the basic setting for the new version in such a way that the expansion will at least continue to work as before?
It no longer works here because I don't understand all the new options. I am a user and not a developer!
Already in the previous version I didn't understand everything, but at least the necessary and could simply leave the others as they were.
I went to the old version and stopped the automatic update. Hence one star deduction. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 18564276 do Firefox, há um ano
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Michael Carey, há um anoI'm happy with this add. It does what it promises, but sometimes there are small problems.
- Efficient and clean design, the best dark mode add-on when it comes to the minimalist icon that also functions as a on/off switch. Good presets as well. BUT it still lacks some refinement: adding exceptions is rather difficult to do (no shortcut), also on some pages like BBC the images are gone. Still Ive got to say that i had more problems with other dark modes so far, which either interfered with other extensions or caused other/ similar problems, so i will stick to it.
- I find this add-on works kinda opposite to the way I want it to. I don't want a whitelist for sites to not use it on, I want a whitelist for site to use on. There are so many site that have native dark mode that a global setting is too obtrusive for the volume of different sites I might visit in a day. It works well for what it does though.

- Does mostly what I need and the default CSS settings are alright. I did have to whitelist a bunch of sites that already have darkmode that it didn't detect. I also had it break text highlighting on sites that have changed the default text highlight color. I fixed this by adding:
::selection {
background: #55647a !important;
}
to the "Native-Dark" css section in the settings. - I am not sure if this is a known issue but I started using this extension to make blackboard go into dark mode and it take away my navigation column? like excuse me coding wizards, I need that it helps me navigate the class with out worry of migraine triggers.
and this page is all white like why?
otherwise works great - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 17223909 do Firefox, há 4 anosVery nice.
Could you make the option to override the classic themes? - Pretty good, but would be better if it offered whitelist mode rather than only blacklist mode. As I only want to use it for egregiously bright websites that offer no theme swaps (thankfully getting fewer these days), I only actually want to use it for a few sites. So my options are to keep it off 95% of the time or to add 95% of the sites I visit to the blacklist. the latter is obviously impractical.
