por Chris Grimmett, há 3 anosDark Reader has one of the most confusing user interfaces I have used. It is completely unfamiliar to any other software I use on a regular basis. I can't tell if any of the settings are in the on/off enabled/disabled state due to ambiguous design. For example, a button shows either x or ✓. Does x on the button mean I'm switching to x by clicking or does it mean x is the current state? Another toggle uses a left/right instead of x and ✓. A third type of button uses x and ✓ but it's only on the left side. Then there's the light/dark flat buttons which I fail to differentiate. Does light mean pressed or does dark mean pressed? There is a complete lack of predictability and logic and I can't understand how I'm supposed to use it. I'm looking for an alternative extension.

- I expected something a bit better for something that has so many users. The auto-detection isn't very good, geeksforgeeks for example has a built in dark mode and instead of the extension being able to detect that it just implements its own dark mode which obviously isn't going to be as good. I get it, the websites that do that are poorly designed in that regard but that's what this extension is supposed to be for, websites with poor colour scheme design. Not to mention I tend to have a lot of tabs open so opening firefox can really make the fans spin for the first few seconds, they could probably only get it to run on active tabs.
And there are a few dark websites that it doesn't detect as dark which obviously messes with the readability and I didn't realise until I noticed some text was practically invisible. - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Ubirajara1000, há 5 diasTem conflito com o site NotebookLM que faz desaparecer símbolos matemáticos e faz desaparecer caracteres também.
