Just what I wanted and was looking for, unfortunately it seems temperamental and only works sometimes. It really struggles with Spotify. Could also use a facelift as it look very rough visually.

works on Twitch, YT, YT Music as of 13.03.2026, does not work on spotify however, only shows a link that will take you to the tab (better than nothing), this feature should honestly be built-in by now, thanks for the work

worked for a day, then for spotify, only showed the link and just took me to the tab/website to control media. No longer capable of controlling it from the toolbar. Also showed outlook constantly which yeah I can remove it but kinda annoying.

doesn't work on YoutubeMusic

Works on every website other than on twitch for some reason.. Hope they fix that future update

It really does the job very well , I think a nice upgrade to the addon would be a keyboard shortcut to open the media controller window.

It's a mute button for your tabs basically, but hey. It works. Wish it had volume control so that I can mix the tab audio content I still need to hear; but for what it is, it is.

I don't know why, but some time there are no controls and i need to reload youtube tab. After that everything is ok, controls on their place.

It works well but as some others have mentioned it does not work with Youtube music :(

its a great extension i like the usability and UI of the extension but only if it works because sometime the media control doesn't show up.
