por Utilizador do Firefox 17669712 , há 4 anos Before the greed based update forcing you to pay 15 euros a month to actually block anything other then the bullshit algorithm they put in to the app to block glaring ad's. The app was 5 stars. It worked perfectly and had a button to allow you to block things directly. Now if you want to block anything you must pay.
They are essentally saying that the PC you are using, you are not allowed to use it the way you want, but instead MUST pay them to remove the bullshit infesting the internet in ad's.

This was unintentional and we're working on rolling out a fix ASAP. We'll update you as soon as it's ready! Please also note, that this is and will remain a free feature.

Other ad blockers have enough common sense not to CAUSE THEIR OWN POP-UP ADS. When good ad blockers like uBlock Origin update, they do it quietly without bothering the user. The people at ABP thought you wouldn't mind annoying adverts if it was from them. Advertising to me a product I already have installed is a sure sign these people do not respect users time.

publicado a há um mêsWe appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.

Nor on Yahoo.com. at least not on my computer.
