It does the job well about 98% of the time. The few times it has issues are with websites that already have built-in "dark modes," but you can easily have the add-on remember not to enable on those sites by clicking its button in the toolbar. It does affect load times of websites, but not by a very significant margin. Sometimes UI elements on certain websites become obscured but can be easily fixed by turning off the add-on for that website.
Overall, the add-on does exactly what it needs to do, with near perfect execution. It's an essential add-on for me now along with uBlock Origin.

- I expected something a bit better for something that has so many users. The auto-detection isn't very good, geeksforgeeks for example has a built in dark mode and instead of the extension being able to detect that it just implements its own dark mode which obviously isn't going to be as good. I get it, the websites that do that are poorly designed in that regard but that's what this extension is supposed to be for, websites with poor colour scheme design. Not to mention I tend to have a lot of tabs open so opening firefox can really make the fans spin for the first few seconds, they could probably only get it to run on active tabs.
And there are a few dark websites that it doesn't detect as dark which obviously messes with the readability and I didn't realise until I noticed some text was practically invisible. - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Ubirajara1000 , há 9 diasTem conflito com o site NotebookLM que faz desaparecer símbolos matemáticos e faz desaparecer caracteres também.

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por romiha , há 13 diasI love using Dark Reader - so much easier on the eyes. The only thing I don't like is how it slows down Firefox so much. I wish the creators could come up with a fix for that - I'd give Dark Reader 5 stars then!
