However, I've now read several responses from you stating that you don't recommend Session Alive use with banking sites. Ok, say so up front.
The problem I had - before I installed - is that at the top blurb level, it doesn't read '(Not for banking.)', nor does it state that anywhere in "About this extension". So I've wasted my time, but you don't want that, right?
BTW, I suspect this time-out duration issue is more about greed than security, more about the nationwide cost of cloud server seats. Years ago, my credit union default time-out was 10 minutes, but I could option for 40, which was enough for me. Then a national banking services company (was Digital Insight, now Candescent) took over with (originally) free web services forming a near monopoly at CUs. Now 10 has long been the firm limit. Yet my giant credit card bank gives me much longer, 20-30 minutes.
Also BTW, upper middle class users get around this corporate hassle (enforced on local CUs) by paying monthly for money management software that they need daily, which quickly logs in, uploads and downloads the state of multiple banking-financial websites, and quickly logs out. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Joe , há 7 mesesDidn't work at all. It would be helpful to have some directions beyond the few sentences on the page. It's very possible I'm not setting it up correctly, but after half a day of playing with it I gave up. It made, quite literally, no difference whatsoever.

Might try again if I need to use another super annoying short timeout website.

I had the refresh interval set to 1 minute, it still logged me out.

publicado a há 6 mesesThank you for your review. Good suggestion about showing what the server returned when the status isn’t 200. I’ll look into it.- Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 16842486 , há 2 anosI only need this plugin for one particular site, and the plugin keeps saying that no rules are running on the site, even after creating rules using the Add button.

publicado a há 6 mesesThank you for your review. That does sound strange - especially since the rule normally starts immediately after creating it with the Add button. Please submit the issue to the GitHub support site Resposta do programador

Some websites uses aggressive methods for session invalidation like banking sites where refreshing page invalidates the session.- Avaliado em 5 de 5por ........................................ , há 2 anosI'm scatter brained and constantly switch between tasks. Session timeouts are super annoying, especially when I tell the site to remember me and it refuses (OKTA! WHY). This extension bypasses that, thank you!
- Avaliado em 3 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 16773785 , há 3 anosVery usefull. However, it often drops a rule while in execution or sometime not detect a named and loaded page. It needs frequent restart with manual page refresh. Also it seems not working when Windows is suspended.

publicado a há 2 anosThank you for your review. The extensions will not work when windows is suspended, and continue from where it stopped; when windows resumes. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 15019406 , há 4 anos
