I do not see at all the usefulness of this add-on, because it does not bring anything at all. Maybe because it doesn't work with a VPN.

It is meant to tell websites your preferred langauge. Or better to easily switch between different ones. But not all websites care about this setting in browsers.

It just gives you five options out of hundreds of supported languages

Have a look at the screenshots and the configuration dialog in "about:addons". You are in total control. Add whatever languages you need!
