I was beside myself for months struggling to get web browsing to be tolerable. By kismet, I disabled browser guard. The heavens opened and SpaceX launches ceased to buffer. I have used Malwarebytes for years and like it, but this extension has a heavy cost in using the internet.

It's currently breaking major retail sites like Wal-Mart and Home Depot. On these sites, Home Depot for example, if I search for a store item and go to that item's page I can see it for a few milliseconds and then the page just goes white. The only thing that fixes the issue is disabling this Add-On. I tired disabling all of my other add-ons, clearing the page's cookies and cache but the issue is this.

To test it for yourself go to HomeDepot.com, search for dewalt toolkits, and select one. Then try to look at the item. This add-on prevents me from doing so and makes the page solid white in both Firefox and MS Edge.

Great app i've been using Malwarebytes for many trouble free years.

Please, please fix the issue with youtube adblock. I really want to use this addon but youtube keeps blocking me from watching due to malwarebytes messing with the ads system even when turned off for the website.

It's a must-have, not just an ad blocker, but as the name suggests, it also protects against malware and scams! It's rare to make a mistake and have to turn off ad blocking - but if a reliable (!) site doesn't work, then (and only then) do it 8)

this app needs to be actively managed - but if you know when to turn it off, its very useful to be in control and safe! Great app!
