Followup to your followup:
I have both apps on both computers, so that can't be the problem. On the computer in question I don't get the Mozilla logo on the bar at the top -- but I do get it on the other computer. And on the second computer, the M shows how many intrusions it's blocking.
I sort of solved my problem by uninstalling Microsoft Edge, which I don't use anyway. Most of the tracking cookies were going into files with "Edge in the name.
You may have a problem with Microsoft trying to place cookies and bypassing Malwarebytes browser blocker.... Just a thought.
Anyway, very disappointed in the lack of problem-specific access to a qualified Malwarebytes tech.Resposta do programador
publicado a há 2 anosIf SuperAntiSpyware is a desktop app, it probably operates on the Network driver layer. Since Browser Guard is operates at the browser layer, if my assumption is correct, SuperAntiSpyware would get access to block first. Which might be why you see so many blocks from it and not Browser Guard.
I'm sorry for the delay in getting tech support, but it sounds like we need more details than I can gather here.

Ad-blocking-wise, it is very, very good. It even blocks the ads on youtube, though it takes about two seconds for the page to reload after it blocks the ad.
It hasn't yet caught any viruses on my laptop, but that might be because there are none?
The virus scanner only takes like five minutes and it can run in the background while you do other things.
All in all, I really like malwarebytes, it meets all my requirements, though I do use it mostly to protect my browser, and use a separate app as a VPN and download-checker (like it checks the things I download for viruses). - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 17628399 , há 2 anos
