- Love this extension. It feels like the equivalent to RES for reddit (w/o the overkill). I never thought HN could be tweaked but this extension has changed my mind. It truly provides tweaks that HN needs.
I am having a similar issue, however, to one expressed on github (Jun 8, 2021) - titled:
[Firefox] Extension is broken (the loading wheel keeps spinning)
Most of this extension is working but the extension's Front Page sorting bar (sort by time/score, auto-refesh, hide read stories) - which is located above the stories/below the menu items was not working. This caused the spinning wheel.
This extension is so great, it allows easy blocking of certain features. So I disabled:
1. hide-read-stories
2. sort-stories
3. auto-refresh
BOOM! No more spinning wheel for features that weren't working anyway (for now). I'm still giving this extension 5 stars. It does so much! Even without the sorting, it's great. I do hope this issue gets resolved. I would really like to able to sort the front page stories by time (newest on top).
PS: Using Linux Mint: LibreWolf w/many extensions (main browser). Firefox with some extensions. Firefox *Profile* with zero extensions (ie, clean install of FF). They all had the same spinning wheel issue. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 17530236 , há 3 anos

publicado a há 5 anosHey, I know this is very late, but you can disable the "open-story-links-in-new-tab" feature by opening the extension's popup window (topleft in the extension bar) and entering "open-story-links-in-new-tab" in the "Features to Disable" field.
Hope that helps! - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 15058130 , há 6 anos
