Really useful extension, the player loads a loads and performs a lot better than regular twitch player, unfortunately with the added 1440p quality streams that use that option have stopped working entirely if you use the extension.

I love this extension, it makes watching twitch a much better and smoother experience. There are some drawbacks but the upsides are so great. I hope the developer keeps updating it.

Great player that blocks pefectly annoying ads on twitch. Thank you Dev !
Edit: Now, that some channels on twitch broadcast in 2K, these streams no longer can be ad-blocked.
Message: "This broadcast is encrypted. The Alternate Player for Twitch.tv extension does not support encrypted broadcasts. Click the “Back” button to return to the previous page."
Hopefully the dev will have a look at it.

Eines der wichtigen AddOns, wenn man viel Twitch guckt.
Nicht nur ist der Player schön Ressourcenschonend, sondern blockt am zuverlässigsten die Werbung und entfernt den Müll drum herum.

Es gibt nur ein Nachteil: Der Puffer ist etwas größer als beim direkten Twitch-Player.
1-2sec Verzögerung gibts dadurch ontop.

MUST HAVE extension for twitch. The only issue currently is it doesn't work with the new resolution settings

App is 10/10, must have, I use it for 8+ years.

One of the better solutions to make Twitch viewable, the delay is not ideal but all considered this is a great extension.

If you're having trouble with dark mode not staying in chat go to FrankerFaceZ control center search for dark then appearance>theme and enter #0E0E0E for background. It'll stop going to light mode.
