    It doesn't work, even on nightlies with the new Navigation API. Plus, it requires access to all your data for websites. Every time you enter a password, it sees it. Why would a simple gesture app need this information?

    Swipe Navigator requests permission to run on all websites because gesture detection happens inside each page. This allows the extension to recognize edge swipes and show visual feedback, then trigger browser back/forward navigation. The extension is designed for gesture handling only, not for collecting passwords, form entries, or browsing content. Similar extensions require the same permissions.
